WELL I DID IT! 19 days is has taken me to actually go to a class since I joined online, better late than never I guess.
I knew it was bad, but it’s better than I thought it was when I got weighed a few days before, it may be my scales so I haven’t had the urge and step on them at home. The class was really quiet, I had expected it to be full with it being the second week in January. But no, 9 people in total stayed and not many left. The leader does have the energy and enthusiasm of someone who has just discovered she has lost a winning lottery ticket so I do have a feeling that may have something to do with it.
I am not one for talking to people I don’t know, I do not have the confidence so really I’m a fine one to talk but it may help being in a smaller group. The ones I have been in before have been big, so I easily sat there at the back nearest the door to make a quick exit and never got asked a question. This may be the reason why after so long I stop going to class, and come out with,
I don’t need to go to class, I can do this on my own. Why waste money, I mean I’m only paying to get weighed what’s the point in that!
But there is a point, because I don’t stick to it. Maybe for a few weeks then it’s bye bye diet, hello cake!!!
So no, it’s not a waste of money, they say you can’t buy happiness and your health but in a way you can. I am thoroughly miserable so if I have to pay what really is a small amount each week, then it’s not a waste of money.
The Weight Watchers Plan
There is a new plan in place, which has been going since November, which basically they have added fish (not smoked) eggs, peas (not mushy though – noooo!)sweet corn and chicken/turkey breast onto their zero points list, however the points have dropped. The good news though is that you can roll over 4 unused points each day. Excellent!!! Having that one bad meal now means that you don’t have to worry too much if you save your points wisely!!! ( How many of us beat ourselves up because of one bad meal, that can turn into a day, week, month?)
So today I need to read/ find some good blogs, scour the web for recipes, and come up with some meals. Breakfast is a tricky one as I have to take it to work and because I never know where I will be one day to another it’s not easy to plan. Lunch, well I am trying not to eat bread so salad it will be. Dinner who knows, that I will decide on the day.
